Unit Converter Hub
Convert measurements across length, weight and mass, temperature, volume, area, and speed. Free and instant — the calculation runs in your browser with no sign-up.
What can I convert?
Unit Converter Hub covers six everyday measurement families: length, weight and mass, temperature, volume, area, and speed. Choose a conversion type, enter a value, and pick the units to convert between — the result is computed instantly in your browser.
How unit conversion works
Most measurements are converted through a standard base unit: the value is converted into the base unit and then into the target unit. Temperature is different because Celsius, Fahrenheit, and Kelvin use both different scales and different zero points, so it uses an offset formula rather than a single multiplication factor.
A note on US customary units
Volume conversions use explicitly labeled US customary liquid units (US teaspoon, US tablespoon, US fluid ounce, US cup, US pint, US quart, and US gallon). A US gallon is not the same as an Imperial (UK) gallon, and Imperial volume units are not included in this version.
Frequently asked questions
- What units can I convert?
- Length, weight and mass, temperature, volume, area, and speed.
- Does the converter support currency?
- No. Currency rates change over time and are outside this deterministic unit converter.
- Are gallons and cups US or Imperial?
- The current volume conversions use explicitly labeled US customary liquid units.
- Why are temperature conversions different?
- Celsius, Fahrenheit, and Kelvin have different zero points as well as different scales, so temperature requires an offset formula rather than only a multiplication factor.
- Can I convert a unit to itself?
- Yes. Same-unit conversion returns the same numeric value.
